Product Information
JImager is simple but useful user friendly image viewer. It displays JPEG , GIF and PNG images and other formats (See requirements page.) This program has been written in pure Java, therefore it can run on any platrorm with Java support. Development overshoot in Linux and Windows. In both operating systems Sunīs JDK or SDK is applied for programming this. This product is FREEWARE.

Description of some features and functions in current version:

File functions:

• You can copy, move and delete image files.
• Function "Next File" loads next image file in current directory. Function "Previous File" load previous file in current directory.
• Function "Random File" loads random image file in current directory, or in directory, which was last opened.
• Function "Write as" write an image to a file. Changes in image will be accept at writing an image to a file.
• There are preview image file in file dialog with basic information about image file.
  
• File dialog to remember last opened directory seperately for file operations like "Load", "Save as" and "Rename".
• File dialog displays files sorted by name, extension, date, length and ascending or descending.
• Function "Rename all files" renames all files from source to destination directory. You may add name which will be share for all files. For everyone file will be added index. Index depends from selection type sorting. When isnīt any share name, then each file name will be only his index.
• Function "Run Slideshow" automatically flip from image to image every few seconds. It starts from current working directory and from image wich is actually loaded. The delay between flipping, along with other slide show options, can be set in "Set Slideshow" dialog. Item "Stop Slideshow" put out of action slideshow. Slideshow action is realized as programm thread and each action is available and independent from slideshow. When slideshow is running, you can resize actual image or changing current directory and etc.
• You can print the image, which is just in window by function "Print" in menu "File". Print dialog provides options like "Orientation", "Size" and second print dialog by "More options".
• If no file was opened yet, last opened directory will be applied as current. Each action look like Slideshow or Next File then starts with first file in last opened directory.

Image viewing and manipulating functions:

• You can set image size in "Set Size" dialog.
• JImager window is resizable. You can deform the view by dragging window.
• You can zoom image in functions "Zoom in" and "Zoom out".
• It can set ranges for zoom functions. 1% - 100% for zoom out and 1% - inf. for zoom in.
• It can find best view size for your desktop by function "Fit to desktop".
• If picture is deformed, function "Default Horizontal" shift horizontal largeness according to initial ratio. Function "Default Vertical" shift vertical largeness according to initial ratio.
• You can enhance colors on image by function "Brightness". A dialog appears with a slider controls.
• You can enhance contrast on image by function "Contrast". A dialog appears with a slider controls.
